Opening young eyes to the world. UN Youth Victoria is a not-for-profit youth organisation striving to open young eyes to the world.

We aim to educate young people about the United Nations, get them to engage with international issues and empower them to be part of positive change in the world. We're run entirely by and for young people between the ages of 15 and 24. We hold events for school students including the Evatt Competition, Voice Competition, one-day Summits program and annual State Conferences. We also run school visits and members' events throughout the year.

The deadline to apply for the Victorian delegation to the National Conference has been officially extended. ⚡️ ⚡️ While this provides additional time to finalise your application, please be aware that this new date is critical for those seeking financial support.
To remain eligible for a bursary, your application must be submitted by this final cutoff. Submissions received after this point will be considered for the delegation but will no longer be eligible for bursary funding.
Please ensure your application is completed and submitted via the portal to ensure you don’t miss out on this opportunity.

Step into the heart of a global crisis and put your diplomacy skills to the test 🌏

Crisis Point is UN Youth Victoria’s fast-paced Interactive Problem Solving (IPS)
simulation, where students in Years 9–12 take on roles as world leaders, journalists, and humanitarian actors to respond to an unfolding international crisis in real time.

💡 What to expect:
• Work in teams (“cabinets”) to tackle evolving challenges
• Negotiate, strategise, and make high-stakes decisions
• Build skills in leadership, public speaking & critical thinking
• No prior experience needed — just curiosity and enthusiasm

UN Youth Victoria is greatly saddened by the passing of Dr Jane Goodall, whose kindness, courage and vision touched millions around the world.

Her pioneering research and tireless advocacy for conservation and youth empowerment changed how we see our planet and our place in it.

Her legacy will continue to inspire young people for generations to come.

Rest in peace, Dr Goodall.
