Keith Mallegrom, a long serving member of Whitehorse TM, passed away 13th June. Keith had been a member for approx. 30 years including two terms as president 2007-08 and 2022-23. His funeral service is Thursday 3rd July 10am at Heritage Funerals, 733 Boronia Rd, Wantirna (Upcoming Services - Heritage & Heritage Funerals).

Thanks to the generous donation of bread from Baker’s Delight Oakleigh and the Friends of Children Foundation, we were able to run a highly successful sausage sizzle at Bunnings Nunawading. The event helped us raise a substantial amount of funds.

For a not-for-profit organisation like Toastmasters, this kind of support goes a long way in helping us keep membership fees affordable while continuing to empower individuals—especially youth—to grow in confidence and communication.

We're thrilled to announce that Whitehorse Toastmasters will be relocating to the freshly renovated Blackburn Square, situated at 64-104 Springfield Rd, Blackburn Vic 3130. You can find us on Level 1, nestled between Centre Management and the MyHealth Clinic.

Congratulations to all of Whitehorse members that will be going forward into the Eastern Division Contests in February next year. First and second place holders will be going through to the Division Contest, but a great result for all our competitors none the less.

To all past, present, and future Whitehorse Toastmasters,

A thank you to all who braved the bad weather and came out to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. A wonderful night of speeches from some memorable past members. Hearing from the first woman who became a member of the Club, and the first female President was only a sampling of the quality speeches that were presented last night.
We were also honoured at the last moment by the Mayor of Whitehorse Mark Lane.
But a special thank you to all that contributed to making the evening come to a very successful fruition.

Congratulations to Shivesh Pandey on becoming the Whitehorse TM Table Topics Champion for 2023, and to Chong Zhang, with both going on to represent the Club at the Area Table Topics Contest later this year.

Well done to everyone who took part in the Table Topics contest, particularly, our new members who spoke very well for their first time in contest conditions.
