AGM notice.
We desperately need people to join the committee… without the support of committee members our club cannot run events or continue as a club.
We are looking for members willing to help out for the following roles…
- President - to run the meetings and check in with all the event coordinators to make sure everything is running smoothly. To be the spokesperson for the club.
- Secretary - to take minutes at committee meetings, to receive, table and respond to correspondence. To assist with event coordinators to ensure all DV paperwork is submitted.
- Treasurer - to keep financial records for the club. To ensure payments are made and documented. To present a financial report to all committee meetings. To ensure financial records are kept and audited each year.
- committee members - to assist with events, share ideas, help with fundraising and other needs of the club.
- event coordinators:
Conformation Show Secretary
Trial secretary/managers - Retrieving and field trials
Other event coordinators for future events if we have the coordinators and helpers:
- Sprint, Scent, RATG, Tracking, T&S, Rally, Obedience, etc.
If we have willing people to coordinate events then we are happy for our club to run the event… and we need is the people willing to run events.
Please if you are a DV member, willing to get involved we need you.
If you have sat back and enjoyed competing with your dog in events - now is your chance to give back to our community and ensure that the events can continue to run.
