We are not just talking — we are delivering.

My aim is to promote and preserve traditional Punjabi folk heritage through folk instruments, folk singing and folk dance.

I’m trying my best to give the next generation a real connection to our traditions — not just by talking about them, but by teaching and experiencing them.

I want our kids to learn the real roots, sounds and traditions of Punjab, so they can carry this beautiful heritage forward.

A daughter may grow up, but she will always be her father’s little girl. ❤️

Watching his daughter perform in beautiful Punjabi attire, with pride, love and tears in his eyes — a moment that words can’t truly describe. 🥹❤️

Some moments are not just watched… they are felt deep in the heart.
A father’s love, a daughter’s happiness, and a memory to cherish forever. ❤️🧿

A name that has been part of the BDU journey for more than a decade is coming back to Melbourne.

DOWN TO BHANGRA — DTB SYDNEY — RETURNS TO BDU 2026.

Formed in Sydney in 2014, DTB has grown from a passionate Bhangra team into one of Sydney’s biggest and most recognised Bhangra academies, building a strong community and helping introduce a new generation to Punjabi folk culture and Bhangra.

Their connection with BDU goes right back to the early years — representing Sydney on the BDU stage and becoming part of the history of Australian competitive Bhangra.

Over the years, DTB’s journey has expanded far beyond competitions, including major public performances and an appearance on Australia’s Got Talent, while continuing to grow their academy and presence across Sydney.

Now, in 2026, that journey comes full circle.

Sydney is coming. DTB is coming.
And this one has history behind it.

At BDU, it’s not just the teams creating the energy — sometimes the audience becomes part of the show too.

Bring the whole family and be part of an atmosphere filled with Bhangra, community, culture and memories that last forever.
