Barrbunin Beek is hosting AHV and IBA for a Homeownership for Mob Event next Tuesday 25th August. 11am-2pm. All are welcome to attend.

Please join us to raise awareness and funds for mental health/su***de awareness

Join us on a 9k walk to raise awareness and break the cycle and barriers around mental health in our community

Tragically, over 3,000 Australians lose their lives to su***de every year. These people are our family, friends and loved ones.

Join us to walk for World Su***de Prevention Month (September 11) to remember those we’ve lost to su***de, and raise funds to provide crisis support and su***de prevention services to change lives.

You can walk to remember a loved one, as a personal tribute for a friend or family member, or to show your support for Australians experiencing emotional distress or mental illness.

Through connection, compassion and hope, we will unite to raise awareness, overcome stigma and commit to preventing further deaths by su***de.

Together, we will ensure that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.

Bring a photo of your loved one or wear something that reminds you of your special person

Mob Dinner is on this Friday 7th August, 5.30 to 7.30pm at Barrbunin Beek Aboriginal Gathering Place.

To celebrate National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day we will have special activities and kids showbags. Bring the whole family to celebrate our culture, connect with community and have a good feed.

We will be having Butter Chicken, Chow Mein and desert.
