A simple surgical checklist can make a big difference. 🩺

Surgical safety checklists have been associated with:

πŸ”Ή 47% reduction in deaths
πŸ”Ή 36% reduction in post-operative complications
πŸ”Ή 48% reduction in infections

But a checklist only works when it’s actually used. That’s why we’ve made the surgical checklist digital with VetCheck β€” easy for the clinical team to complete, standardise and keep as part of the patient record.

Less paper. Less room for missed steps. A more consistent surgical workflow.

Simple checklist. Digital workflow. Better surgical safety.

For many veterinary nurses in regional Australia, the cost of travel and ongoing education can make it harder to access opportunities to learn and grow.

Through the Buddy Giving Program's support of the Veterinary Nurses Council of Australia (VNCA) Membership Accessibility Scheme, more veterinary nurses and technologists can access professional development, wellbeing resources and a supportive professional community.

Here's one what member said.

"Receiving a complimentary Veterinary Nurses Council of Australia membership through the Membership Accessibility Scheme removed so many barriers.
It gave me access to learning resources, webinars and education that helped build my knowledge and confidence as a veterinary nurse. The membership also eased the financial pressure of continuing my professional development, allowing me to put those savings towards attending the VNCA Conference. I'm passionate about bringing new skills and knowledge back to our practice, our local community and the veterinary industry. I'm incredibly grateful to the VNCA and the Buddy Giving Program for making these opportunities more accessible."
