In recent years (2004-2021), Gary Grierson was synonymous with Central Badminton Association Inc league competition working tirelessly as Central’s Match Secretary. As an affiliate club of Central Badminton Association, Hawthorn Badminton Club has had many interactions with Gary on the Central Badminton Association Inc Committee enjoying the close of Committee meetings with conversations over a glass of red. We thank Gary for his dedication and service to Central Badminton Association, for his tireless work as Central Match Secretary and for his contributions to the wider badminton community. He was a role model of what volunteerism is.
