Strong communities start in Neighbourhood Houses. We're asking the Victorian Government to support stronger communities by ensuring access to the social connection and wellbeing our sector provides through:
💛 Restoring and maintaining Neighbourhood House funding
🩵 Support 25 Neighbourhood Houses who do not currently receive any ongoing funding
🩷 Develop a fund for the establishment of 5 additional Neighbourhood Houses in Victoria’s growth areas annually

Last week we celebrated Dennis' last day at Farnham Street. Dennis has been an important and valued member of our teaching team for a long time, loved by students, as well as being supervisor of new teachers, bringing Fotina and Catherine into our team also. Dennis, we wish you all the best with your retirement.. where you'll be knitting, cooking, holidaying, chilling, and spending time with your partner and friends. All the best, and thanks for everything!

Behind this photo of delicious food (and you can only see a small part of the feast)is a story of women, connection, belonging and support. The Eritrean Women's Group is a Volunteer run Group which meets once a month in Flemington. Thank you for the warm welcome to Farnham Street and to our funders Australian Multicultural Services, who are providing another year of support so the women can extend these meetings to activities which further support their Wellbeing.
