A great session last night on India: The Next Decade of Growth Opportunity - Market Insights, hosted by JITO Australia in collaboration with IG Funds.

The discussion covered a wide range of topics, including in India, the opportunities available through GIFT City, India’s growth outlook, SMSF investment considerations, and insights from HDFC Mutual Fund.

Thank you to Ailesh Dupate from IG Funds and Manas Kumar from HDFC Mutual Fund for sharing their knowledge and practical insights. A special thank you also to our Chair, Bina Shah for opening the session and welcoming everyone.

We had excellent participation and some very thoughtful questions from attendees, which made the discussion even more valuable.

Following the strong interest in this session, JITO Australia intends to organise more educational sessions throughout the year covering areas such as investments, SMSFs, tax strategies and wealth planning.

JITO Australia was honoured to be a Welcome Partner for this landmark event and to be featured in the official souvenir book.

It was a particularly special moment to see our Chair, Bina Shah Shah, recognised as part of the inspiring Naari Shakti welcome line-up, alongside other accomplished women leaders from the Indian-Australian community, as Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Prime Minister Narendra Modi made their way to the stage.

The event was a powerful celebration of the growing Australia-India relationship, with strong opportunities ahead in bilateral trade, business and people-to-people connections.

It was also wonderful to see around 50 JITO members present at the event, representing our community and sharing in this historic occasion.

As Australia and India continue to strengthen their partnership, we are confident that JITO members across both countries will benefit from deeper trade, business and community linkages.

As a Welcome Partner of Melbourne Meets Modi, JITO Australia is pleased to share the following important event information received from the organisers, including India in Australia (Consulate General of India, Melbourne), Australia India Foundation, and relevant event stakeholders, for those attending the event at Marvel Stadium.

It is wonderful to see the excitement across the community as we prepare to welcome the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi Ji, to Melbourne.

Due to limited parking availability, attendees are encouraged to travel to Marvel Stadium by train, bus or rideshare where possible.

For everyone’s safety, if you encounter any unpleasant situation, please remain calm and do not engage in arguments or take matters into your own hands. In an emergency, call 000 immediately. You may also notify Victoria Police or authorised railway/stadium staff and allow them to manage the situation professionally.

If you observe or become aware of anything concerning, please immediately inform the High Commissioner of India, His Excellency Mr Nagesh Singh, at [email protected], and the Consul General of India, Shri Anish Rajan, at [email protected]. Proud moment for JITO Australia and the Jain community. As Melbourne prepares to welcome Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, JITO Australia is pleased to support this important occasion celebrating the strong ties between Australia and India.

For us, this is also about showcasing the contribution of the Jain community - through enterprise, ethical leadership, service and community building.

We are pleased that JITO members will be in attendance at Marvel Stadium to be part of this significant moment for the Indian diaspora in Australia.

Jai Jinendra, JITO Australia was pleased to support the recent blood donation drive in Melbourne and acknowledge the wonderful community spirit shown by those who came forward to donate blood.

It was encouraging to see around 50 people from the Jain community across Melbourne register for this meaningful initiative.

Pictured here are Bina Shah, Hitesh (Raj) Shah and Chintan Bharwada from JITO Australia, meeting and supporting community members who participated in the drive, including Jay Sutaria from JSGM who is seen donating blood.

The contribution of Jay and everyone who came forward to support this drive is a strong example of seva in action, a simple act that can make a real difference to someone’s life.

We thank everyone who donated, registered, organised and supported this important community initiative.
