A department of the Monash Student Association, Lot's Wife is completely student written and organised. Lot’s Wife delivers quality content spanning from arts and science features to music reviews and creative writing, all generated by students who gain valuable writing and journalistic experience. We have four core sections, each corresponding to various topics and fields: Campus, Creative, Analy

sis, Culture, the magazine is not only limited to those sections, as we aim to intersperse the more regular content with more unique and engaging articles and pieces in order to truly cater to all regards of Monash’s lively community. Before Lot’s Wife, there was only Chaos.

For Edition 4, Lot’s is looking back to our history and our theme is “Chaos.” For those who aren’t avid Monash history buffs, before Lot’s Wife was created in 1964, the MAS’ paper was Chaos. We’d love to see pieces about history - any history you’re particularly interested in, and the idea of chaos itself.

Submissions close on the 1st of July, and you can submit through the link in bio. We can’t wait to see what you write!

Following on from Around the World, this edition’s theme is Under the Sea. Pieces on bodies of water (obviously), lesser known ideas and issues, and fish are amongst those we’d love to see.

You watch the hands of the clock ticking down, the sound echoing through your skull as if someone is pounding on it from the inside. It could be a migraine, it could be something else, but nevertheless, time still passes. Clock’s still ticking.

Our theme for Edition 5 is Murder Mystery! We’re doing a grungy, noir-themed edition, think lipstick stains on wine glasses, rain on cobblestone paths, ci******es in ashtrays. Don your trench coat and a lone wolf personality and tell us all about it. More to come.
