💧 World Continence Week 2026 | 15-21 June

Continence care is about more than managing symptoms. It plays an important role in protecting skin integrity, maintaining dignity and supporting quality of life.

For people living with incontinence, prolonged exposure to urine and faeces can increase the risk of skin damage, moisture-associated skin damage (MASD) and wounds. Effective continence management can help reduce these risks and support better health outcomes.

This World Continence Week, we're proud to stand with our affiliate, Continence Health Australia, which provides valuable resources and support for consumers, carers and healthcare professionals.

⭐A message from our valued Platinum Partner Essity for healthcare professionals⭐

The International guideline on antimicrobial stewardship in wound care provides actionable, evidence-based clinical guidance. It recommends* microbial-binding dressings, such as Sorbact® Technology dressings, as a first-line therapy for infection management and for early prophylactic use to support prevention.¹

Start smart. Start with Sorbact Technology.

🔥 June is National Burns Awareness Month

Burn injuries can happen in everyday moments - from hot drinks and hot water bottles to electric blankets and heating devices. Prevention and awareness play an important role in reducing harm, particularly for children, older Australians and people living with reduced mobility or sensation.

Burns can have a significant long-term impact on skin integrity, healing and quality of life. This month, we encourage our community to share the message around burn prevention and safety at home.
