What a MASSIVE couple of days at the Wounds Australia 2026 Conference in Adelaide! Our opening ceremony featured a special message of support from Minister for Health and Ageing Mark Butler MP and an address from Member for Boothby Louise Miller-Frost MP, sold-out workshops on debridement, dressings, imaging and more drew record attendances, an expert-studded program has engaged audiences over two days and a lively Exhibition Hall packed with innovation and excitement has sparked conversations and ideas across breaks... and there's still another day of learning to go!

Alison, a Clinical Senior Podiatrist working in the high-risk foot space in regional South Australia, says one of the reasons she chose to join Wounds Australia is because she's a lifelong learner.

“I am a lifelong learner - always wanting to know the answers and how to do it better.

✨ Our websites just got a little smarter and even more accessible.

The Recite Me accessibility toolbar on the Wounds Australia and Wound Aware websites now includes Smart Suggest, a new feature that recommends accessibility tools based on the content you're viewing.

It might recommend text-to-speech for a longer article, reading aids for an information-rich page or text adjustments to make content easier to read, and it's up to the user to decide which suggestions work best for them.

💙 It's another way we're working to make trusted wound care information accessible to more people.
