We empower educators, organisations and speakers to unleash their influence, engage audiences and drive meaningful change. Youth Engagement Project is a not-for-profit organisation that provides training and support for those who work with young people, including teachers, schools, outdoor educators, youth engagement officers, youth organisations, councils, and government departments. We are on a

mission to transform the landscape of youth engagement, as our young people deserve to have those who support them at their best. Our vision is a youth landscape where young people are inspired to take ownership of their lives, are confident in who they are, and face a flourishing future.

We are so lucky to work alongside such an epic team as part of 💛

These individuals all bring their own magic to their role and the youth landscape is a better place thanks to their dedication and commitment.

These people are seriously intelligent, ridiculously funny, unbelievably determined and undeniably passionate about supporting young people to thrive.

We are a hosting a free webinar this Thursday!

Why? Because we don't believe in gatekeeping information in the youth landscape and are trying to make the work we are doing as accessible as possible - simple!

Really felt the need to share this as it’s of the most encouraging conversations we’ve had in a long time 💛

A client shared that while many organisations are cutting training and development during budget season (we’re all in the thick of it!) they’re actually increasing theirs 🤯🙏🏽 whattttttttt!

Not because they have endless money (the dream!) but because they understand that in service-based work, people are the strategy.

When organisations stop investing in their teams, it eventually shows everywhere else too. The best organisations that we’ve had the privilege of working with understand this: Training and professional development isn’t an expense to survive without, it’s an investment that shapes everything you do!

We are so thrilled to announce the safe arrival of our newest YEP team member, Amanda’s beautiful boy Oliver “Ollie.”

is already the best mum in the world (of course) and we couldn’t be prouder of her.

Things Ollie will learn: that his mum never sneezes less than three times in a row, she’s a condiment queen (two gravy’s minimum), no one will advocate for him more strongly or protect him more fiercely, she’s the perfect combination of book smart and street smart, she has the biggest heart of anyone you’ll ever meet.

Congratulations Amanda and Joe, and welcome to parenthood - Ollie has won the parent lottery 🥰💕

Such a privilege to be invited to speak at the Community Languages Victoria Teachers’ Summit at Monash University across the weekend!

In our session, we welcomed over 200 educators in person and online with 470 attendees across the event 💛🥳 what a day!!

The session focused on student engagement and storytelling in practice, looking at how we can implement and embed storytelling to boost engagement and help create environments that meet psychological needs.

The energy across the day was inspiring - so many educators giving up their time to learn about enhancing their practice for the benefit of their students.

Such a great morning with interagency group.

We delivered a workshop all about Youth Communication, Engaging Gen Z & Gen Alpha, the impact of growing up online and focused on practical tools and strategies we can use to best support young people within our roles 💛

It’s awesome to see so much collaboration happening in the youth landscape and it’s always a privilege to share with and learn alongside such passionate professionals.

And just like that... Amanda delivered her last workshop yesterday 🤰🏼

36 weeks pregnant and the next chapter is knocking ♥️

Amanda will be wrapping up work in the coming fortnight, as she prepares to step into life as a mum - so exciting! 🎉
