☀️❤️ A Beautiful School Holiday Gathering at Norris Park, Bundoora! 🌳

During the school holidays, families from the Libyan Women’s Association came together for a lovely outdoor gathering at Norris Park, Bundoora.

We enjoyed a beautiful sunny day filled with friendly conversations, laughter, and delicious food, while the children played together and made new friends. 🥰

It was wonderful to welcome new families and members, get to know one another, and strengthen the connections within our community. The day was full of warmth, friendship, and a lovely sense of togetherness.

Simple moments like these remind us how important it is to bring families together, build friendships, and create a welcoming community where everyone feels they belong. 🌸

🌸 A Wonderful School Holiday Outing to Scienceworks! 🔬❤️

Alhamdulillah, the Libyan Women’s Association had a beautiful school holiday outing with our families and children at Scienceworks!

It was a fun and informative day full of learning, discovery, and laughter for both children and adults. It was especially valuable for newly arrived families, giving them a chance to explore local attractions, meet other families, and feel more connected to the community.

We travelled together by public transport, shared meals, enjoyed lovely conversations, and made beautiful memories along the way. 🥰

It was more than just a school holiday outing; it was a wonderful opportunity to bring families together, build friendships, and create a sense of belonging.

A heartfelt thank you to all the families who joined us and made the day so special. Looking forward to more beautiful gatherings together, Insha’Allah! ❤️🌷

Alhamdulillah ❤️🌸

Members and children from the Libyan Women’s Association and Al-Madina Arabic Language School Incorporated enjoye a wonderful day at the Muslim Youth Conference 2026, organised by iCAN Victoria at RMIT’s Storey Hall.

Travelling together on public transport made the day even more special! 🥰 The conference brought families from different backgrounds and generations together, with inspiring talks, amazing guest speakers, and valuable opportunities for our youth to learn, connect, and grow.

A heartfelt thank you to iCAN Victoria and all the volunteers for organising such a meaningful event and bringing our communities together.

🌱 دعوة لحضور إطلاق نتائج استبيان WCAN المجتمعي

يسر فريق WCAN دعوة أفراد المجتمع لحضور إطلاق ومناقشة نتائج استبيان المجتمع حول القضايا البيئية والمناخية في منطقة ويتلسي.

منذ شهر مايو، يعمل فريق WCAN المتخصص والمهتم بالقضايا البيئية على الاستماع إلى أصوات المجتمع والتعرف بشكل أفضل على مستوى الوعي والاحتياجات والأولويات المتعلقة بالبيئة والتغير المناخي في منطقة ويتلسي. 🌿

💚 كما تفتخر جمعية المرأة الليبية بتعاونها السابق مع منظمة WCAN العام الماضي، حيث تم تقديم نشاط توعوي حول البيئة للنساء والأطفال، وشهد النشاط تفاعلًا ومشاركة رائعة من المجتمع.

خلال اللقاء يوم السبت 22 أغسطس 2026، سيتم عرض أهم نتائج الاستبيان ومناقشة كيفية الاستفادة منها لفهم احتياجات المجتمع بشكل أفضل، ودعم صوت المجتمع والمساهمة في القرارات المتعلقة بالقضايا البيئية في منطقة ويتلسي.

AusAlert is Australia’s new national warning system.

It does not replace VicEmergency and will only be used in certain situations.

AusAlert is being tested at 2 pm on Monday 27 July.

What to expect: You’ll get an alert on your mobile device. It will vibrate and make a loud, siren-like sound that lasts about 10 seconds - even if your phone is on ‘silent’ or ‘do not disturb’.

Safety: If this test could cause you or a loved one to feel unsafe, please turn off your mobile devices or switch them to aeroplane mode before the scheduled test time. Leave them off for at least one hour.

As this is just a test, you don’t need to do anything. However, in an actual disaster you should follow the alert instructions to keep yourself and others safe.
