Ancient Roman Re-Enactors Victoria public We are an Ancient Roman re-enactment group, that share a passion for the way of life in ancient times that being military or civil.

This group is newly formed by a small amount of people living in Victoria AU , we all have a passion for History and the Ancient world , mainly Roman, the time period we wish to portray is 1AD to 100AD. One or two members have been involved in

re-enacting for several years and others are relatively new to operating in a group scenario, but all are keen to have fun and enjoy their hobby. We are keen to portray our period accurately and though some knowledge is present within the group we may not get it right all the time though ! Funds notwithstanding it will take time to put together a coherent team and at times we may need assistance of more knowledgeable people. The re-enacting world if full of good people who we know would help if its needed , most of us are hardworking people or students deep in study, so time is always an issue for all of us and we will try and update ourselves and our pages when we can.

Today, two members participated in, and completed, the Bloody Long Walk, https://www.facebook.com/share/192mhzsJGs/
The Bloody Long Walk, 35km in 7hrs, is in support of The Mito Foundation which supports people affected by mitochondrial disease.
Mike and Richard completed the walk dressed as ancient Romans. GREAT effort guys.
