A completely safe Australian doesn’t abuse others, doesn’t allow abuse of others and doesn’t allow abuse of themselves. We believe that Australia should have the worlds lowest levels of family and domestic abuse, child abuse, elder abuse, bullying, sexual assault, r**e and unlawful assault. From there we will continue, uniting every man, woman and child in an informed stance against abuse. Let the
Australian community lead the global community in progressing humanity beyond a widespread presence and therefore continued acceptance of abuse. Every Australian deserves the right to live free from both the threat and the fear of violence and abuse. We must take ownership of this right. We must guard this right, for us and for our fellow men, women and children. We must give it to those who can not attain it themselves. Freedom from violence and abuse is a basic human right that a great percentage of us to go without. No more will we stand for this kind of society. With hundreds of charities, tens of thousands of programs and billions of dollars all working towards ending abuse, how can abuse be so widespread? We don’t believe there is a lack of skills, resources or work being done. We feel that there is a lack of synergy; the interaction or cooperation of two or more organizations, substances, or other agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects. Abuse may often surface in isolation, but it spreads like a virus through all areas of society. We can not succeed if we only work in isolation. We must work together to form new target based solutions. This movement works to link people, programs, communities, causes and groups together, spreading a sphere of protection and awareness until each and every Australian is a safe Australian.
