Back for 2025 due to multiple requests of "When is the next car wash??", EXE Car Wash is back ON Tonight, @ 9PM, Thurs 13th Feb, at the usual local of Sparkling Car Wash in Burwood East. Come if you can, leave when you must, maybe bring your partners car to wash it for Valentines Day, or treat your "track mistress" to a wash ;)

How is everyone doing out there? Anyone manage to battle the traffic and get out for a drive over the GF Long Weekend and/or get some work done on your track projects?

Well just in time for Hayfever season, our Thailand based Crew Member is back in town to complain about anything & everything all at once!!!

So as the weather is FINALLY starting to stay improve and it's looking like the weather will stay 'nice' tomorrow night, why not join us for a catch up, maybe wash your ride and have a laugh from 9pm at Sparkling Car Wash cnr of Burwood Hwy and Sevenoaks Rd.

Well the weather has decided to do Melbourne Things and be totally unpredictable/predictable and decide it wants all seasons in 1 day!!

Alas, we have an old regular who's temporarily back in Melb and wanted an EXE Car Wash to attend, so a Car Wash Meet will be on TONIGHT at the Traditional Time & Place. Rug up for whatever weather Melb wants to throw at us and bring your stories of what you managed to get done over the winter, some might share of the excitement of WTAC, folks plans for H Nat's & NugNats, maybe even some international multi border vehicle transportation and sales, you never know😉

While Close Enough Racing may never reach the podium, the journey the Team has along the way has always been memorable for lots of reasons, both good and bad!!

Lots of awesome memories of attending WTAC with other members of EXE Crew over many years. From driving up to just spectate and napping in our red Nissans outside the gate till they opened on friday, helping Jim Jim realise a podium finish in Clubsprint after consistently moving up the leaderboard each year, oil pump rebuilds in the pits with overnight parts flown up from melbourne, the epic road trips towing cars up in convoy with other Victorians and the insider jokes that live on for years to come that all come from limited sleep, individual pressure, while trying to help someone get that 1 Perfect Lap ...

Finding like minded people that are willing to share life's journey and the many different adventures it can take us all on, is a great way to enrich both your own and others lives. So if you can spare a couple of minutes, grab a beverage of choice and enjoy the journey with the Driver/Ring Leader/Dreamer/Funder Justin as he shares just a fraction of what drives him & the Team to keep going back to WTAC.

Who turned up the heat!!! It's finally summer weather in Melb, so we'll be back at the OG Car Wash locations from 9pm this thursday the 15th Feb, @ Sparkling Car Wash on Burwood Hwy.

Please remember to be respectful for others that want to wash their cars so don't block bays and enter/exit appropriately, hope to see folks there to wash the bugs and dust and chew the fat - McG

Edited Post: What to do when the Optus Network crash takes away all your internets/phone? Wash your Car before the dirty Western Rain makes it all dirty again ... What else you gonna do with no internets or phone!!

For those unaffected but still need to wash their now wet and dirty cars, why not use the warm nights to catch up with others at Sparkling Car Wash on Burwood Hwy, from 9pm on Thurs 9th Nov of what you used the Melb Cup Day to do on your car or what events you want to do next year.

You might even bump into a Crew Member visiting from O/S who'll probably speak of the Good ol DECA Days & "Cheap" Supras!! - McG

PS: As an affected Optus Customer and also working for a company effected by the Outage, making light of it is part of dealing with it ;)

Finally the temperature has started to climb away from the doldrums of Winter and the curse of the costly thermostat!!

Thus for the first time since JULY, Car Wash Meet will be on tomorrow night, thurs 19th Oct, from 9pm at Sparkling Car Wash on Burwood Hwy, Burwood East. Stay as long as you want, and catch up with folks as we hopefully finally start Summer for 2023!!

Please be respectful for other users and don't park in the wash bays unless washing your car and those that live in the surrounding area.

Who turned down the heat and turned up the rain??

Hope you all have been staying warm and safe out there, but tonight due to significant prodding and the weather looking okay for Melb Winter, there will be a Car Wash Meet at Sparkling Carwash in Burwood East from 9pm.

If you want to come out to catch up with folks and even wash your car, dress warm cause it's going to be chilly!!

It's been a while since we had a car wash and the Crowd has asked for it so we'll promote it.

We will be back at 9pm tonight at Sparkling Car Wash in Burwood East to wash cars, chat, trade model cars and pick on Benry's and all the other normal fun stuff 😜
