Warmest greetings to all Chin communities across Australia as we prepare to celebrate the 78th Anniversary of Chin National Day.

On this meaningful occasion, we honour the courage and vision of our forefathers who embraced unity, equality, and self-determination for our Chin people. Their legacy continues to guide us today wherever we may live, reminding us that our identity, culture, language, and faith remain strong beyond borders.

Here in Australia, we give thanks for the opportunity to live in peace and freedom, while continuing to stand together in solidarity with our people and homeland. May this day strengthen our unity across tribes, churches, and organisations, and inspire our younger generation to carry forward our heritage with pride and responsibility.

Let us celebrate not only our history, but also our shared future, building a community grounded in respect, harmony, and hope.
Happy 78th Chin National Day!

Kan ram, kan mi — unity in diversity, strength in togetherness.
May God bless the Chin people everywhere 🙏

📢 Program Update | Chin Humanitarian Enablement Program (CHEP)

We are pleased to share an important milestone update following the successful launch of the Chin Humanitarian Enablement Program (CHEP).

On 11 December 2025, the first batch of 20 sample water filtration units was delivered by The HADR Institute to one of the refugee camps in Mizoram, India. These units are being provided specifically for training and demonstration purposes in coordination with our partners Mizo Zirlai Pawl - MZP, enabling the refugeea and volunteers to learn proper usage, maintenance, and safe water management practices within the camp.

This initial deployment marks a critical first step in strengthening access to clean and safe drinking water, while also building local capacity to manage humanitarian resources effectively.

Looking ahead, the first major shipment of medical supplies under CHEP is currently being coordinated and is planned for dispatch before the end of February 2026, subject to final logistics and regulatory clearances.

We sincerely thank our partners, technical teams, and community leaders on the ground for their continued collaboration and commitment.

Today, the ACCC Executive Members had their first official meeting for the current term (2024-2026), and the meeting was attended by delegates from Chin Community leaders from QLD, Victoria, South Australia (CCSA as Observer). and Western Australia.
The ACCC, as a peak Chin Advocacy organization in Australia identify the following issues that we will initiate to tackle on a local, state, federal and a global platform -
1. Lack of Chin refugees intake by Australia under the Humanitarian Settlement Programs.
2. Lack of activities/action by the UNHCR to support the Chin refugees and IDP's in Myanmar and India.
3. Lack of scholarship programs within NATTI that is inclusive for all the Chin dialects to address the needs of interpreters within the health, employment and Social services sector in Australia.
4. To address language and digital barriers faced by Chin community for the Australian citizenship test.
