I have some wonderful news to share about our little princess....

As you know, she is our longest-term resident here at Romeo’s Cat Rescue. Trapped as a feral with her babies, she has been with me ever since.

Despite being shy and often overlooked for adoption, she’s such a special girl and I'm so happy that her latest specialized blood results came back, and there are no markers for lymphoma or multiple myeloma and her thyroid levels are within the normal range.

While there is still some inflammation, we’ve been able to rule out any of the real nasties.

I’ll keep you all updated on how she’s doing, but for now, she’s a happy little girl. At night, she even comes and snuggles in bed with me, gets her cuddles, and then heads off again.

I can’t thank you all enough for your support and positive thoughts.

Princess's bloods have come back and they great news is her thyroid levels are still normal!

The not so great news is her globulin are still higher than normal which is common with chronic inflammation . In the past we have put this down to her stomatitis and nail bed issues but as these are now resolved we need to try rule out more sinister causes like lymphoma.

We have requested the lab to run a protein electrophoresis to try get some answers.

Princess was back to see Dr Amy today.... she has a condition which affects her nail beds and her coat has been awful.

The good news is her little paws are looking great after the new medication so now we are just waiting on blood results to see what else may be going on.

Our baby boy Sweetpea has chronic congestion and it breaks my heart.

This gunk came out of his nose after a sneezing attack.

As you know our little Sweetpea joined our family at just 2 weeks old and was a very, very sick little boy..

Whilst he is doing wonderfully overall, he still has several chronic issues that we are managing daily on an ongoing basis to keep him that way.
