Notice of Annual General Meeting 2026
Friends of Baucau will be holding our 2026 Annual General Meeting (to report on activities in 2025) on Wednesday June 17th via Zoom at 6pm AEST.
We extend an invitation to you to attend the meeting. If you would like to attend please RSVP to [email protected] by Monday 15th June to receive the Zoom link.
The guest speaker will be Angelo (Alau) Menezes Guterres Aparicio, who was born and raised in Baucau, Baguia, during the Indonesian occupation. Alau is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Psychology (Clinical and Forensic) at Swinburne University of Technology. He holds degrees in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Hawaiʻi in 2014, and a master’s degree in Forensic Clinical Psychology from Montclair State University, New Jersey, in 2019. Alau has worked as an independent consultant with various national and international organisations in Timor-Leste, focusing on mental health, gender-based violence prevention, child protection and social cohesion.
All attendees will receive an emailed copy of the Annual Report. Copies of the Annual Report will be available on request.
