Target Christmas Appeal

Established in 1991, The Target Christmas Appeal is the exclusive Christmas giving campaign to Target, offering support to disadvantage people of all ages across Australia.

Target is proud to partner with UnitingCare Australia to continue the appeals work in supporting thousands of Australians facing hardship this Christmas. Target and UnitingCare Australia believe that every Australian deserves to feel comforted and experience the joy of Christmas.

Target and UnitingCare have been in partnership since 1992, together the appeal raised over $1.2m dollars in just one year. UnitingCare Australia is one of the largest providers of community services in Australia, providing services to more than 2 million Australians each year. They provide services to older Australians, children, young people and families, Indigenous Australians, people with disabilities, the poor and disadvantaged, people from culturally diverse backgrounds and older Australians in urban, rural and remote communities.

Thanks to the generosity of the Australian community, Target and UnitingCare Australia have collected over 2.1 million gifts in the last 28 years, and raised over $2m in the last 2 years.
