Join us for our final event of the year, the 2026 Student Research Symposium where we explore 'Building Connections in Hearing Care Research Across the Asia-Pacific'. 🌏👂

We have students from Shanghai Jiaotong University, Sichuan University and The University of Melbourne presenting their research! This will be a valuable opportunity to learn about what rehabilitation might look like in the future, gage what a research project consists of and ask your burning questions.

Pizza will be provided, so come along and join the fun!

On Wednesday morning, audiology and optometry students were invited to a mysterious breakfast in Mexico!

Following Kelley into a shipping container, we were transported to the National Autonomous University of Mexico, where we were greeted by experts to discuss the healthcare system there.

Xavier, a final year clinical audiology student said: “It was a rewarding experience to learn about the cultural similarities and differences between our health systems.”

The first of its kind in Australia, the Global Portal allows University of Melbourne students to connect and learn from experts around the world as if they are in the same room.
