🌟 Dare to Be Different Forum – Mentoring: Compassion in Motion 🌟

Opening the Doors Foundation is delighted to be part of the upcoming Dare to Be Different Forum, hosted by the Xavier Social Justice Network.

We are especially proud to feature OTDF Trustee, Prof Gabrielle McMullen AM, who will join an inspiring panel exploring the power of mentoring and the importance of long-term, meaningful relationships in supporting young people towards success and an independent future.

Gabrielle will be joined by Brendan Podbury, State Council President and St Vincent de Paul Society Victoria Board Member, and Michael Livingstone, Chief Operating Officer of Jesuit Social Services, with ABC journalist Tom Crowley as MC.

It was such a privilege to be part of this meaningful day at Avila College. How do we live and practice reconciliation in Catholic schools?

From individualised learning plans and cultural lessons, to F.I.R.E Carrier initiatives in partnership with Opening The Doors Foundation, more and more MACS schools are ingraining reconciliation into the every day, for all students.

The Djilang Advertiser recognised Holy Family Primary School, Bell Park and Saint Ignatius College Geelong among Geelong schools that are leading the way in teaching First Nations culture.
