As we reflect on the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, this reminder to choose courage speaks to all of us. Courage can look different in every culture and every community. It might be speaking up, supporting someone quietly or taking a small step toward safety and respect.

🌟 Let’s talk culture and respect during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence 🌟

At Changeprenuers, we’re proud to stand with communities across Australia for the 16 Days of Activism as we work together to stop gender-based violence in all its forms.

Gender-based violence affects women, girls, and gender-diverse people everywhere, but for and communities, challenges like language barriers, visa insecurity, racism, and stigma can make speaking up or seeking help even harder. Safety must be something every one of us can access, regardless of culture, background, or circumstance.

On of this campaign, we’re asking two powerful questions:

💬 What does a safe community look like to you?
💬 What does respect look like in your culture?

Respect may be expressed differently across communities through language, gestures, family roles, and traditions, but at its core, respect is about dignity, non-violence, and valuing each other’s humanity. By sharing our experiences and cultural strengths, we help build safer, more respectful spaces for all.

Today is the International Day of the Girl! This year's theme is 'The girl I am, the change I lead: Girls on the frontlines of crisis'.

In the world of today, girls across the globe face a myriad of different challenges. It is imperative for us to share girls' stories, foster female connections and campaign for change.

We'd love to share a video showcasing our SHE Rise mentoring program, an initiative that aims to support, uplift and build up girls and women. Through supporting and celebrating girls and women, we can catalyse change in our community. ✨
