Such an incredible donation from The Steel Club of Victoria to Hope in a Suitcase Victoria! 💙
This generous $20,000 donation will help us purchase essential items for the children and young people we support as they enter into care.

The Steel Club of Victoria also generously covers half of the rent for our packing hub, providing ongoing support that makes such a meaningful difference to our work.

We are incredibly grateful for their generosity, kindness and continued support. 🙏💙

Thank you, Steel Club Victoria, for helping us give children and young people hope, dignity and a brighter future. ✨

💛 72 suitcases, helping little ones entering care feel a little more loved and supported. 💛
🧸 8 suitcases for newborns have been delivered to Ballarat Base Hospital and 64 suitcases for children entering care have gone to Department of Families, Fairness and Housing - VIC in Dandenong.
Every suitcase represents care, comfort and a little something of their own during what can be a big and uncertain time in a child’s life. 💕🧳
A huge thank you to everyone who helps make these suitcases possible. Together, we can make a difference, one suitcase at a time. 🌈💖

🎒✨ MORE THAN A PLASTIC BAG ✨🎒
When a child or young person enters out-of-home care, they are often forced to pack their entire lives into a plastic rubbish bag. It is a time of immense fear, confusion, and upheaval, but because of YOUR incredible generosity, we are changing that narrative—one suitcase at a time.
We want to say a massive THANK YOU to every single donor, supporter, and volunteer who fuels Hope in a Suitcase Australia,
because of your kindness, children are walking into their new placements carrying a beautiful, brand-new suitcase filled just for them.
It’s not just about the crisp new pyjamas, the fresh toiletries, or the comforting toys inside. It’s about the message you are sending to these resilient young people: You matter. You are worthy. And your community cares about you.
We couldn't do this heartbreaking, heart-warming work without you. Thank you for packing hope, dignity, and love into the lives of young Australians when they need it most. 💜🩷💚

Please cast your vote for our incredible founder Rachael Clancy and fellow volunteer Natalie Bennett, so they hopefully win much needed funds for making a difference to the lives of our precious children entering out of home care.
We are 100% volunteer ran, so every donation and every cent we receive goes directly into our suitcases, for these children, sending a positive and empowering message “You are loved, You are worthy, You matter and You are cared about by your community”
