People often say there were no q***r people of colour or trans people in rally’s and marches.

Here is a photo of Mama Latoya Latoya Hoeg marching in one of the first Pride March for Naarm in the mid 90s. This was before Midsumma Festival officially took over the Pride March.

Also in the photo is another legendary and trans icon is Dr Julie Peters she’s on the right holding the flag.
