We're excited to be part of VegoFest once again! This year, we'll be bringing Taiwanese Egg Pancakes to our food stall.

We've been busy practising and preparing behind the scenes, and we can't wait to share more with you as we get ready for the big day!

🌿🍵 A Table for Tea – Chinese Tea Ceremony Experience 🍵🌿

You are warmly invited to A Table for Tea, an intimate Chinese tea ceremony where tradition, mindfulness, and connection meet.

Guided through the art of Chinese tea, you’ll experience the elegance of tea preparation, the meaning behind each gesture, and the quiet beauty of sharing tea in community. This is a space to slow down, be present, and savour each cup with intention.

📅 Date: October 10th, Saturday
⏰ Time: 2pm to 3.30pm
📍 Location: Riverway library, Von Stieglitz Meeting Room
💰 Cost: $15 per person (includes full tea tasting experience & light refreshments) - cash preferred, PayID available
Children under the age of 16 is free

🎯 Throwback to our Cultural Carnival in August! 🎨

The children had the opportunity to explore a wide variety of interactive stations, each designed to offer a unique glimpse into traditional skills and cultural play.

Throughout the event, the kids took part in six exciting activities:
📜 Oracle Bone Writing
📄 Origami
🧱 Five Stones
🏹 Archery
🔖 Bookmark Making
🍕 Pizza Making

When we asked the kids for their thoughts, Bookmark Making and Archery tied as the crowd favourites, while Five Stones proved to be the toughest challenge to master!

Our September Pipe Cleaner Art class was a blast! Organised alongside VCAI, our creators came together at Manor Lakes Community Learning Centre to craft these fantastic Snake Plants.

We had such an amazing time at our very first Pipe Cleaner Art class earlier this month! Partnering with VCAI, we welcomed a wonderful group of creators to Manor Lakes Community Learning Centre to learn the secrets behind crafting sturdy, realistic pipe cleaner lavender.

Golden crispiness on one side, bright and zesty flavours on the other! Our July Cooking Class in collaboration with VCAI was a fantastic success. 🍳🥗

Our class participants learned the simple secrets behind making authentic Pan-Fried Radish Cake from scratch, along with a refreshing Thai King Oyster Mushroom Salad packed with apples, carrots, cucumbers, chillies, and coriander.

From a trusted advisor to the acting prime minister of Lu, Confucius always sought to restore balance and harmony to governance.

In this episode of "Confucius World", we look at one of his most daring political moves: the plan to dismantle the three city walls. To curb the growing power of the aristocratic Three Huan clans and protect the central authority of the duke, Confucius ordered the demolition of their fortified strongholds.

This bold strategy led to a gripping sequence of events, including a surprise attack on the capital city of Qufu, a royal family forced to take refuge, and a tense military counterattack orchestrated by Confucius himself.
