Men’s Health Week Challenge: Strength Through Connection
In martial arts, we train the body.
In Brotherhood, we strengthen the man.
This June, our Ikigai Brotherhood is launching the Ikigai Connections Challenge—a call to reconnect, rebuild, and reach out.
Connection is discipline. It takes intention.
We often stay busy… but disconnected. Training alone. Working hard. Carrying load quietly.
This challenge changes that.
Reach out to:
• Old training partners
• Former teammates
• Friends you’ve drifted from
• Family near or far
• Someone new
There’s a saying often attributed to W.B. Yeats:
“There are no strangers here; only friends you haven’t yet met.”
Why This Matters
Mind - Connection reduces stress and sharpens clarity.
Body - Stronger relationships support healthier habits and recovery.
Spirit - Brotherhood builds purpose, belonging, and direction—core to Ikigai.
The Challenge
Take action:
• Make contact
• Share a coffee, meal, or walk
• Have a real conversation
Then post your experience using:
In training, we say consistency builds strength.
In life, connection builds resilience.
We’d love you to be part of it too. Just reach out to someone, have a real chat, and if you can, grab a photo or video and share it using .
Strong men don’t do life alone.
