He did it! 🎉

After paddling an incredible 2,400km down the Murray River, Tony Pearce has officially completed his trek – and thanks to the generosity of our amazing supporters, he has also reached his fundraising goal of $50,000! And a special thank you to APT for their incredibly generous contribution, which helped us reach this milestone.

Every dollar raised will help fund ESF's Residential Wellbeing Program, providing emergency services personnel with the opportunity to step away from the demands of their roles, reconnect, and invest in their mental health and wellbeing.

A huge congratulations to Tony on this extraordinary achievement, and thank you to everyone who donated, shared, and cheered him on along the way.

As a WHS concept, ‘psychosocial’ relates to the psychological impacts (i.e. mental health impacts) of social factors in the workplace (i.e. how people work together and the work environment).

Psychosocial hazards = things in the workplace that can cause psychological injury.

Stay tuned for more psychosocial posts this fortnight. Next up – we look at psychosocial hazards in the workplace.
