Keeping an eye on Sunday's weather for the last BCC Women's ride before we take a break for the winter. Looking like we may be cancelling due to rain, but will make the final call tomorrow afternoon.

Looking forward to the group ride on Sunday 17th May. As usual, pre-ride brief will be at 8:50 am, at the Brunswick Cycling Club rooms. Be ready to roll out at 9 am. Planned route is an out and back from the Club rooms, along Merri Creek to the M80 Ring Road, and back. Coffee stop at Pentridge. This will be the last ride of the season, and we will be taking a short break over winter. Bring gear appropriate for the weather, and hope to see you there.

Looking forward to our first cool weather ride of the year tomorrow morning. 19 April 2026. Rug up and make sure you have long finger gloves and tights, as the weather will be fresh at the start. Pre-ride brief at 8:50, and we roll out at 9 am for a loop of the Kew Boulevard. Junior clinic is on, so we welcome any Mums wishing to join us.

We had so much fun exploring Melbourne's new Veloway on this morning's BCC Women's Social ride. Grateful that this safe path now exists, but my heart was feeling heavy looking down onto Footscray Road, thinking of Angus. It was good to see all types of riders using the Veloway...from little ones having a big day out on very small wheels to experienced road cyclists zipping past on their own big rides. Nothing better than being out on a bike with friends! Next ride is Sunday 19th April. Ride brief at 8:55, and Roll out at 9 from Brunswick Velodrome. Hope to see you there. Until then, ride safe.

Looking forward to next Sunday's Women's Social Ride. Weather looks good.

We welcome riders of all skill levels. Third Sunday of every month.

We depart at 9 am from the Brunswick Cycling Harrison Street Clubrooms after a quick safety briefing. If you are joining us, please arrive with sufficient time to be ready to roll out at 9 am.

If you have not ridden with BCC before and would like to join us, please send us a message so we can learn more about you and your riding experience.

Rides are no drop social roll with coffee stop along the way.

Pace ~ 18 km/hour
Distance 20-30 km

Mix of road & shared path rides.

Hello Brunswick Women Social Riders! After some unexpected ride leader health issues last year, Brunswick Cycling Club is resuming the monthly Sunday Women's Social rides. Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces next Sunday, 15 Feb 2026, 9 am at the Harrison Street Club Rooms. First ride back will be a very easy social pace. As always, we are a no drop ride, and all bikes are welcome. Expected distance is 20 -25 km to ease back into things. Coffee and a catch up somewhere along the route. Route to be determined by riders on the day.
