এক দশকের দীর্ঘ পথচলা, স্কুল কলেজের পুরোনো সম্পর্কের নস্টালজিয়া আর এই নতুন দেশকে কিছু ফিরিয়ে দেওয়ার অঙ্গীকার মিলে আমাদের প্রিয় সংগঠন - ভিকারুননিসা অ্যালামনাই অস্ট্রেলিয়া (VAAUS) পা রাখছে তার ১০ম বছরে। এই মাইলফলকটি উদযাপনের জন্য বাংলা নববর্ষের চেয়ে বড় উৎসব আর হতেই পারে না৷ আমাদের এই উৎসবের নাম তাই -

বাংলার রঙে, বাংলার সুরে;
বাংলার স্বাদে, বাংলার গানে।

স্মৃতিচারণ, আড্ডা আর ভালোবাসা ঘেরা দিনটিতে আপনাদের উপস্থিতি আমাদের আগামীর পথচলাকে করবে আরও প্রাণবন্ত। তবে আমরা এই আনন্দের দিনটিকে কেবল নিজেদের মাঝেই সীমাবদ্ধ রাখছি না। বরাবরের মত আমরা সমাজকে কিছু ফিরিয়ে দেওয়ার প্রতিশ্রুতি বজায় রেখেছি। তাই এই আয়োজনের উপার্জিত অর্থের একটি বড় অংশ আমরা চ্যারিটিতে দান করার পরিকল্পনা করেছি, যাতে আমাদের এই দশক পূর্তির আনন্দ সবার মাঝে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে।

Every child deserves the chance to learn, dream and build a brighter future. But for many children in Bangladesh, financial hardship makes even staying in school a challenge.

This World Charity Month, VAAUS is proud to support the AIM Initiative Foundation’s Sponsor a Child Initiative, giving children the opportunity to continue their education and pursue their dreams.

Our journey with AIM began in 2024 when we supported their flood relief efforts, followed by sponsoring school benches in 2025. This year, we continue our commitment by supporting their Sponsor a Child Initiative.

Highlights from Our "Confidence Beyond Words" Webinar .

On September 24,2026 VAAUS hosted an insightful session, "Confidence Beyond Words: Communicate with Confidence, Connect with Purpose," featuring speaker Anusha Rahman and a panel of esteemed mental health experts.

The discussion centered on the vital connection between effective communication, personal wellbeing, and professional success.

Our guest speaker, Anusha Rahman - Consultant , Coach and Mentor : Communicate with Confidence, reminded attendees that confidence isn’t about volume; it’s about having the courage to show up authentically.

Our panelists -

Psychiatrist Dr. Samia Arefin, Psychologist , Nafisa Talukder, and Counsellor Mahbuba Naznin Sani ; deepened the conversation by exploring the psychological foundations of our daily interactions, from managing difficult conversations to prioritizing mental health in relationships.
