For her 10th Birthday local resident Shruti wanted to donate items to us for people in need, in lieu of receiving birthday gifts 🥹💞
With so much negativity in the news as the moment, this reminds us all there is good in the world and people out there who care for others 💞💞💞
Shruti’s mum contacted us to find out which items we needed the most, then did a shop and dropped them in!
If you would like to do a food drive at your local school, kinder or workplace get in touch! All items donated go direct to others in the community experiencing food insecurity.

💕 VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT 💕
Nourishing Neighbours superstar volunteer Melvin is featured in the 2006 Merri-bek City Council BOLDER campaign celebrating Merri-bek’s diverse older community.
Melvin brings so much to NN & we are so lucky to have him as part of our team. He is our chief fresh produce sorter, he keeps our fridges in top condition with his regular scheduled cleaning, he brings a wealth of knowledge to our charity, but most importantly he brings us so much laughter every week with his jokes, sense of humour & is a wonderful friend to us all 💕
