In celebration of International Day for Women in Maritime (18 May), Stella Maris Melbourne Manager Lee-anne Diano and volunteers Clare, Georgina, Josette, Christina and Vivianna were invited to the Master Mariners dinner with guest speakers.

The evening was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the contribution of women across the maritime industry, connect with maritime professionals, and recognise the leadership, resilience and dedication of women working at sea and ashore. We are grateful for the warm hospitality and inspiring conversations shared throughout the night.

At Stella Maris Melbourne, we are proud to support and encourage women in maritime, while continuing our mission of caring for seafarers from all nations who visit our ports. ⚓️💙
