Eid Al Adha Mubarak
May our sacrifices be full of Barakah and our dua’a be answered by Allāh swt Ameen.

Udhiyah H1444-45/2023
Udhiyah is a practice commanded by Allah
so turn in prayer towards your Lord and sacrifice (animals). (108.2)

“There is nothing dearer to Allah during the days of Eid al-Adha than the sacrificing of animals. The sacrificed animal shall come on the Day of Judgment with its horns, hair, and hooves (to be weighed). The sacrifice is accepted by Allah before the blood reaches the ground. Therefore sacrifice with an open and happy heart.” (Tirmizi, ibn Majah)

Allah ‎ﷻ says;
‎لَنْ يَنَالَ اللَّهَ لُحُومُهَا وَلَا دِمَاؤُهَا
‎وَلَٰكِنْ يَنَالُهُ التَّقْوَىٰ مِنْكُمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ سَخَّرَهَا

"It is neither their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah, but it is piety from you that reaches Him..."

Poverty in Afghanistan is pushing children to work at brick kilns to keep food on the table.

A recent survey by Save the Children estimated that half of Afghanistan’s families have put children to work to keep food on the table as livelihoods crumbled.
