世界龍岡親義總會第16屆主席趙恩廣先生於2026年4月10日至12日訪問墨爾本，行程圓滿順利。

抵埗當日由澳洲龍岡親義總會等單位接機，並參訪維州國會大廈、唐人街、國父孫中山銅像及僑團機構，了解本地僑社發展。翌日中午於墨爾本中華青年會會址舉行僑務交流座談會，邀請各界社團代表出席，交流氣氛熱烈；晚上設歡迎晚宴，共敘情誼。

4月12日早上送機離墨，為期三日訪問圓滿結束，進一步促進僑界聯繫與合作。

Elder Allen Chao, the 16th Chairman of the World Lung Kong World Federation Association of Taipei, visited Melbourne from 10 to 12 April 2026 and had a successful trip.

On the day of arrival, Elder Chao was picked up by Mr Miu Zhengfeng, President of the Fu Jen Catholic University Alumni Association in Melbourne and the Lung Kong Association of Australia. Elder Chao visited the Victorian Parliament House, Chinatown, the bronze statue of Dr Sun Yat-sen, the Father of Modern China, Kuomintang Melbourne branch and other Chinese organizations to learn about the development of local overseas Chinese communities. The next day, at noon, a symposium on overseas Chinese affairs exchange was held at the Chinese Youth Society of Melbourne, inviting representatives from various sectors to attend the meeting. A welcome dinner at Golden Lily was held in the evening to share friendships.

On the morning of April 12, the three-day visit was successfully concluded, further promoting ties and cooperation between overseas Chinese communities.

席間，主辦單位對侯市長遠道而來表達誠摯歡迎，並肯定此行對促進兩地互動的重要意義。侯市長在致詞中感謝海外僑胞長期支持台灣，並表示未來將持續拓展在經濟、文化及教育等領域的合作空間。

本次活動最終在輕鬆愉快的氛圍中圓滿結束。與會人士普遍認為，透過此類面對面的交流，有助於加深彼此了解，並進一步鞏固海外僑界與台灣之間的情誼與連結。

On March 23, Melbourne Chinese Communities jointly held a welcome dinner to receive Mayor of New Taipei Hou Yu-ih and his party. The event brought together Chinese leaders, community representatives including members of the KMT Melbourne Branch. A lively lion dance and dragon dance performance by the Chinese Youth Society of Melbourne added to the festivities, creating a vibrant and harmonious atmosphere that showcased the unity and cohesion of the Chinese community.

During the banquet, the organizers extended their sincere welcome to Mayor Hou Yu-ih and acknowledged the significance of his visit in promoting exchanges between the two sides. In his remarks, Mayor Hou Yu-ih expressed his gratitude for the longstanding support of overseas Chinese communities toward Taiwan and stated that efforts would continue to expand cooperation in areas such as the economy, culture, and education.

The event concluded successfully in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. Attendees generally agreed that such face-to-face interactions help deepen mutual understanding and further strengthen the bonds and connections between overseas Chinese communities and Taiwan. 🇹🇼

The Mayor of New Taipei City, Hou Yu-ih, recently arrived in Melbourne for an official visit, where he was warmly welcomed at the airport by members of the Kuomintang Melbourne Branch and representatives from local Chinese community groups. The atmosphere was lively and enthusiastic, reflecting strong community support.

This visit not only highlights the friendly ties between New Taipei and Melbourne, but also demonstrates the enduring connection between Taiwan and the overseas Chinese community. 當日與會者在輕鬆融洽的氣氛中交流近況、分享意見，現場洋溢著喜慶與溫馨的節日氣氛。

此外，主辦單位亦特別感謝中央黨部準備的新春紅包袋，以及王桂鶯委員贈送的黨徽，分發予到場參加的黨員留念。紅包袋內亦放入一枚一元銅板，寓意「一元復始，萬象更新」，象徵新的一年帶來新的希望與新的開始。

The Kuomintang Melbourne Branch and the Eastern District Branch held a Chinese New Year group event on March 15 (Sunday), inviting party members and friends to gather together to celebrate Chinese New Year. The event provides a platform for communication as well as solidarity and cooperation.

On the day, the participants exchanged recent situations and shared opinions in a relaxed and harmonious atmosphere, and the scene was filled with a festive and warm festive atmosphere.

In addition, the organizers also thanked the Central District Branch for preparing the Chinese New Year red envelopes and the party emblem presented by Member Wang Guiying, which were distributed to the party members who attended the event. The red envelope also contained a one-dollar copper plate, which symbolizes "one dollar is renewed, everything is renewed", symbolizing that the new year brings new hope and new beginnings.

2026 年 2 月 22 日，墨爾本唐人街的中國國民黨駐墨爾本黨部 門口舉行舞獅賀歲活動，吸引不少市民與遊客駐足圍觀。

當日由 墨爾本中華青年會 舞獅團帶來精彩表演。白綠相間的醒獅在鑼鼓聲中翻騰起舞，並與現場群眾互動，場面喜慶熱鬧。活動亦延續傳統派發紅包的習俗，象徵新一年吉祥如意、興旺順利。

不少民眾紛紛拿起手機拍照留念，小朋友更近距離觀看舞獅表演，整條街洋溢著濃厚的新春氣氛，展現出海外華人社群對傳統文化的傳承與凝聚力。

On Sunday February 22, 2026, a traditional Chinese lion dance was held at the entrance of the Kuomintang in Melbourne’s Chinatown, attracting many citizens and tourists who stopped to watch.

On the same day, the Chinese Youth Society of Melbourne delivered a wonderful performance. Accompanied by the rhythmic sounds of gongs and drums, a white and green lion danced energetically and interacted with the crowd, creating a lively and festive atmosphere. The event also continued the traditional custom of distributing red envelopes, symbolising auspiciousness and prosperity for the New Year.

Many spectators took out their mobile phones to capture the moment, while children watched the lion dance up close with excitement. The entire street was filled with a strong Lunar New Year atmosphere, reflecting the overseas Chinese community’s commitment to preserving traditional culture and strengthening community cohesion.
