GET READY FOR OUR CAMP 2026! 🏕️ 🚲 🏹 🌊
We are excited to invite the students attending our Homework Club Program, to attend our camp which will take place from Monday 21st to Wednesday 23rd September 2026 in Mount Eliza, Victoria. This transformative three-day camp aims to empower African-Australian students with essential skills in confidence building, teamwork, leadership, mental health and wellbeing. Our camp is not just about learning, but it will bring together African-Australian students to celebrate their heritage, build a sense of belonging, and cultivate the skills needed to thrive in today’s world.

MEET KRYSTEN: Krysten is a Master of Teaching (Early Childhood and Primary) student at Australian
Catholic University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, specialising in Marine Biology, Ecology, and Environmental Science.

Krysten has chosen to be part of this amazing team because she is passionate about supporting students in their learning. She hopes to inspire confidence, encourage growth, and help every student reach their academic potential in a positive and supportive environment.

MEET THOMAS: a passionate educator and fully registered
VIT teacher with over a decade of experience teaching students from Foundation to Grade 6. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, along with current First Aid and Anaphylaxis certifications.

Thomas is passionate about social justice and supporting multicultural communities. Drawing on his experience as a teacher, school leader, and musician, he is committed to empowering young African-Australian students through education and mentorship.
