Longhorns Basketball Club Longhorns basketball club was established on the 15th of Feb 2003 by Manyang G. Berberi (Manny) in S It was founded in Sunshine in February 2003.

Longhorns Basketball Club is located in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. We are a good basketball club with a good junior development program. We run great basketball trainings sessions. We play in various tournaments and leagues. We help engage the youth in the sport of basketball. If a player within the team shows the right skills and abilities, we can help them get a student athlete scholarshi

p to a high school or University in the United States. Over the years, we have developed a lot of alumni players who have gone on to play in high schools and universities in the United States. We have 2 alumni players who have played in the NBA. We have 2 alumni players who have played for the Boomers (Australian national team). We have 5 alumni players who have played for the South Sudan national team. We have 4 alumni players who have played in the NBL.

Our Story

Longhorns Basketball Club was founded in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne (Sunshine). We play our junior league games at Recwest, Braybrook 3019. We help a lot of young people accomplish their dreams through this sport. We have had players that have gone on to play in the United States and at the professional level. More importantly, we are all about youth skill development, engagement, mentorship, confidence building, leadership development, teamwork building, homework support, employment support, career path advise and general youth support.
