THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT
It was all smiles and excitement at the drawing of the Easter Raffle on Thursday 2 April outside Bendigo Bank in Ashburton. Pictures of the event are here. The raffle prizes were nd some three huge hampers full of goods and vouchers donated by the Ashburton Traders valued at over $1,000, generous vouchers for legal and gardening services and an Easter hamper valued at $250.

The Edge Community Fund is a local charity helping children in Ashburton, Ashwood Chadstone and surrounding areas who might miss out on educational and extra-curricular activities and last year assisted over 50 children. For over 20 years the Raffle has been generously supported by local traders and lately funds matched by Bendigo Bank. We are all volunteers and the Easter Raffle is our one fundraiser.

Thank you for your generous support! We raised over $4500 $2 ticket at a time, from selling to Ashburton shoppers over the last few months.

The EASTER Raffle is back again 2026...

The Edge Community Fund 2026 Easter Raffle

The Edge Community Fund supports vulnerable children and families in Ashburton, Ashwood, Chadstone and surrounds through its 2026 Raffle.
• 1st Prize is a Giant Hamper worth over $1,000 donated by Ashburton Traders.
• 2nd Prize is Legal Advice valued at $750 donated by TBJ Law Ashburton.
• 3rd Prize is a Gardening Voucher valued at $400 donated by Lucas House and Garden.
• 4th Prize is an Easter Hamper valued at $250 donated by the Ashburton Traders.

Tickets are $2 each, 5 for $10 or 10 for $20. They are on sale from 7 February at the Ashburton shops (e.g. Saturdays 10 to noon outside Friends Chemist), the Ashburton Community Bendigo Bank Branch or online via TryBooking https://www.trybooking.com/DIUMX or using the QR code below.

October 2025 - The EDGE Community Fund celebrates 20 years supporting the community in Ashburton, Chadstone and Ashwood. There were over 30 people in attandance for afternoon tea at the Ashburton Community Centre.

The Edge is not-for-profit; tax deductible charity which gives financial support to families of children, up to the age of 18 years; who are experiencing financial hardship in Ashburton Ashwood Chadstone and surrounding areas. Stalwart volunteers have carried on the vital hands-on work for those 20 years, sometimes running the funds down to almost zero until the next wonderful raffle conducted at Easter in Ashburton with the generous support of the local traders on High Street.
We have also in recent years received private donations and grants from The Bendigo Bank. The great news is that The Edge now has a healthy balance of funds and can support many eligible applications, such as programs for laptops, excursions, and sports memberships.
