The management of Afghan LEE Alliance Inc had very constructive discussions about the upcoming federal elections. In all our discussions, we centered the concerns of Afghan LEE Alliance members. We agreed on the following:
* To motivate Afghan LEE Alliance members to vote in the upcoming elections.
* To work and establish good relationships with the newly elected government and federal Members of Parliament (MPs).
* To ask newly elected MPs, especially those for Bruce, Holt, and Latrobe seats to advocate for the humanitarian visa applications of Afghan LEE's extended families.
* To ask MPs to raise and escalate the visa applications of Afghan LEE's extended families with the Department for expedited processing.

Let us honor this individual’s memory by advocating for the immediate release of information on the status of Afghan refugees, and by working together to make sure no one is left behind in this desperate wait.
