Well, that’s a wrap!

CMaP’s Knox Concert Series was a huge success. Nearly 200 people attended the three fantastic concerts at the Boronia RSL: Hans De Zilwa with Sinatra After Dark, Stuart Cardell with Caught In The Act! (Songs of Our Lifetimes) & finally Pippa Wilson with Jazz Notes (presenting Pippa’s All-Time Favourites).

Thanks to the amazing performers, the volunteers and committee at the Boronia RSL, the generous CMaP committee for their hard work and dedication in making these events special. A special shout out to Rob Broomhead for providing professional and reliable sound for all the concerts.

Of course, none of this would have happened without the support of a grant from the Knox City Council Community Development Fund whose generous sponsorship allowed us to provide these events at low cost.

And most of all to YOU, our audience. You enjoyed some excellent music and we look forward to seeing you again at our next event.

We are loving seeing our 2026 Bendigo Bank Jazz Scholar, Keith Yu, making such great progress. A HUGE Thank you to Community Bank Ringwood East and Croydon for continuing to support CMaP's Music Programs with their sponsorship opportunities.

We see his playing improving each month and are very pleased that he is recognizing his improvising and confidence is stepping up a level each month too!

This is not possible without the support of our fine musicians and teachers that form the committee of CMaP Inc. We are all enjoying watching Keith develop his musical skills during this experience.

Keith is now more than half way through is term as 2026 Jazz Scholar and loves it so much, he's staying on till the end of the year. Come along and watch him play, ask him how he's enjoying being part of Jazz on Sundays and just see the joy he brings to the afternoon. Way to go Keith! Keep it up.
