Tonight we celebrated our Changeover to the start the new 26/27 year. A fun night with great company and great food at the Bridge Hotel. Looking forward to some new challenges, ideas and projects and for the year ahead. Tonight we had the great pleasure of inducting three people Isla, Gayle and Bec. Welcome aboard! Many thanks to Pat for inducting the new members and DG Russell for installing the new executive club board along some presentations. A big shout out to everyone who attended the dinner and celebrated with us.

The weather was kind to us as we acknowledged NATIONAL TREE PLANTING DAY with the Kingston council at Chelsea beach. 30 or more people joined in planting seedlings along the foreshore. Amazing to see the progress from last year as we added to it today. A huge shout out to those who came a long. A great way to spend the morning, David and his dog Winston, Sue, Sarah, Isla, Nick, Gayle and Bec and not to forget a thank you to Megan for organising 😀

Many people braved the cold 4 degree morning and participated in Melbourne run. A great effort well done.

Just a quick update on our Prez. David is recovering wonderfully from surgery and hasn't lost his spark—or his recruiting instincts! He's been charming doctors, nurses, and anyone who walks past his room into joining Lions. Now that's what we call dedication!

Wishing you a speedy recovery—we miss you, but we're so glad you're spreading the Lions spirit everywhere you go! 🦁💙
