Did you know we have AWU members looking after people on the ski resorts across Victoria? Well, we do, and they are doing a fantastic job keeping things moving in the alpine region.
Today, Vic State Secretary Ronnie Hayden visited Mount Baw Baw to see firsthand the incredible work our members are doing and to understand the conditions they face. A big shoutout to all our members working hard to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone in the mountains!
It’s a shame the state government doesn’t recognise their value and continues to fight them to ensure they don’t get penalty rates on weekends.
