This “Survival of Invasion Day” please send some financial support GMAR Victoria’s way.

We occupy a unique place in the Aboriginal community, because we are a grassroots, non-professional organisation. We can respond without red tape when there’s a heightened risk of forced child removal. We make emergency dashes to family homes, including in the middle of the night. We attend suburban and regional court sessions. We put food in empty fridges and find last-minute emergency accommodation. We source furniture, nappies and clothes.

Our volunteers can provide emotional support and advocacy. But often the support people need also requires cash and we have no regular funding for our work.

Donations from our supporters enable us to help families out when there’s no other source of assistance. Please give generously.

Can SNAICC-National Voice for our Children Support GMAR Victoria volunteers in attending their big conference in Brisbane?? Is there any scholarships etc???

The largest national gathering of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander family and children’s leaders, advocates and change-makers will converge in Meanjin/Brisbane from 7–9 October for SNAICC’25.
