Alhamdulillah, your Qurbani orders have been allocated across ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ+ ๐œ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ. Because Eid is on different days globally โ€” some communities celebrating Wednesday, some Thursday โ€” and with sacrifices being spread over the 3 days of Tashreeq, it becomes difficult to notify each donor the exact moment their Qurbani is completed.

After consulting senior Ulama, we share this guidance:
1. Refraining from cutting nails/hair before Qurbani is ๐‘š๐‘ข๐‘ ๐‘ก๐‘Žโ„Ž๐‘Ž๐‘ (recommended), not ๐‘ค๐‘Ž๐‘—๐‘–๐‘ (compulsory). Itโ€™s a relaxed ruling.
2. The Prophet ๏ทบ said: โ€œ๐‘ˆ๐‘›๐‘ก๐‘–๐‘™ โ„Ž๐‘’ ๐‘ ๐‘Ž๐‘๐‘Ÿ๐‘–๐‘“๐‘–๐‘๐‘’๐‘  โ„Ž๐‘–๐‘  ๐‘Ž๐‘›๐‘–๐‘š๐‘Ž๐‘™.โ€ The sacrifice is normally done after Eid Salah. Therefore, if your Qurbani is overseas and you donโ€™t know the exact time of slaughter, ๐จ๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ก๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐ž๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฅ๐จ๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐„๐ข๐ ๐’๐š๐ฅ๐š๐ก, ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐ž๐ž ๐ญ๐จ ๐œ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ง๐š๐ข๐ฅ๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ก๐š๐ข๐ซ. Your Eid takes the place of the slaughter timing.

- Cut off date for paying for a Qurban will be Thursday Maghrib time.
