Fabulous feature of the 71st Gippsland Hills CWA Exhibition on the South Gippsland Sentinel Times page, but don't miss out on seeing it yourself. Meeniyan members Marilyn and Vanessa were snapped with as she attended for the official opening and awards presentation.

Open all weekend at the Korumburra Indoor Rec Centre, 20-30 Charles St Korumburra. 10am-4.30pm Saturday & 10am-3.30pm Sunday. A wonderful stop on your weekend adventures.

Meeniyan CWA members joined forces once again for the 'Make, bake, grow' section at Korumburra Show. This section was for community groups and required a minimum of 4 members to contribute 2 items for each category of the make, bake, and grow. Meeniyan entry included
Make - a felted beagle toy and knitted baby jacket.
Bake - boiled fruit cake and yo yo biscuits.
Grow - floral arrangement and small harvest basket.

It was lovely to see so many other community group entries and what they produced to the theme.

Shortbread is coming fresh from the oven, mince tarts, puddings and cakes all await you at the Meeniyan Football club rooms.

Come now until 1pm for your Christmas baking needs.

We realise many are not ready to think about Christmas yet but there are still plenty of tags still available on the Meeniyan CWA Community Christmas tree found in Brownwigg Meeniyan. The recipients on the tags are children from our community who need a little help this Christmas. Pick up a tag, purchase a new gift for the one listed and return it to Brownwigg before the 3rd of December. The CWA elves will wrap it and get it to where it needs to be.

It's not too late to get your orders in for your Christmas cakes and puddings. The ovens have been baking up a storm in the kitchens of our members, so we have plenty available for collection this Saturday at MDU Football Club rooms or December 13 at Coal Creek Farmers Market.
