MEDWAY COMMUNITY ASSOC INC AGM AND DINNER - a good meeting and excellent meal afterwards.

There being no new nominations received and all previous committee members standing again the vote was unanimous to return all positions for the coming year - with thanks to them all and the members and kids that attended the occasion at the Surveyor General Inn.
Looking forward to the day that these functions can be held in the comfort of a repaired MEDWAY HALL!

Our latest fundraiser concluded today with our garage sale and raffle draw resulting in a boost of over $4500 to the cause. Thanks to the three Councillors that attended and drew the three prizes in the raffle. Thank you also for the many generous donations of items to sell. Big thanks also to our supporters Walarah Pastoral Co, Simpson Landscapes, Wyadra Brewing Tallong, Rod and Lyn Johnson for donating many loads of firewood and tenaciously selling raffle tickets, Mittagong Veterinary Hospital, Berrima Post Office, Surveyor General Inn, Shamrock Mower & Motorcycle Repairs P/L, United Petroleum New Berrima, The Southern Wire and of course our tireless volunteers who make these events possible. And it goes without saying - thankyou to John Davis for providing some live music and also donating his fee to the causešŸ‘Graeme Day and 2ST have been very supportive and the folks at ABC Illawarra and our recent awareness boost by the WIN News story. Apologies to anyone not mentioned.
