Today we celebrate all the incredible mums, grandmothers, carers and mother figures who support our Scouts every step of the way 💛

From early mornings and muddy uniforms to camp prep, fundraising, encouragement and endless lifts to activities — thank you for everything you do behind the scenes to help our young people grow and thrive.

New national research by Scouts Australia and Resilient Youth Australia confirms what we see every day: Scouts are resilient.
By comparing 47,000 Scouts aged 8–18 with more than 110,000 young people across Australia, the research shows that Scouts are:

✔️ 20% more likely to face up to problems

✔️ 13% more likely to help others

✔️ 10% more likely to get along with different people

✔️ 10% more likely to feel good about themselves

✔️ 23% more open about how they're feeling

This doesn't happen by chance.
