2026 President’s Day done & dusted! 14 teams competed in much better conditions than the ladies did yesterday but hey, we ladies are far more resilient 😜
Thank you to everyone for travelling to Meandarra, some for second day in a row! It was great seeing you all.
The CDBA team led by Jim Smith took out first place but Jim did give credit to our Rick McDonald with being a fantastic support for his team 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣🤣. Runner up team was Dalby.
Thanks once again to our band of volunteers. Our Club is lucky to have volunteers who willingly give their time to run these and we appreciate them 🩷💙

Ladies Friendship Day 2026 was freezing cold, windy and completely embodied the concept of Friendship!
9 teams from within the District and 1 from outside the District (Surat) enjoyed some challenging bowls, lovely food and plenty of laughs!
Thanks go to Hen’s men for ensuring, even though Hen BOWLED her first Ladies Day, her food was served up to our guests. They also rolled the green, umpired, ran the bar (until Helen arrived) and drew the raffles. So a huge thanks to the blokes who stepped up and made sure our ladies could enjoy a day on the green. 👏👏👏

We have had a team withdraw from our Ladies Friendship Day this Friday.

Is there anyone who can please send a team of 4 or even just a couple of ladies and we will top up with blokes😜 who would like a game of bowls at a very friendly place with great food.
