We are SO honoured to be named Queensland Social Enterprise of the Year! QSEC - Queensland Social Enterprise Council

What started with a simple desire to make lives better has grown into something far bigger than we ever could have imagined. And this award isn’t just for us, it belongs to every volunteer, staff member, supporter, partner and community member who has helped make Lighthouse Care what it is today.

We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built together: a self-funded, not-for-profit social enterprise working every day to make affordable groceries accessible to families across our community.

To be recognised at a state level for the work we’re so passionate about is genuinely overwhelming.

Thank you to everyone who has believed in the vision, backed the mission and helped us keep going.

What an incredible day at Lighthouse Care Good Food Festival 2026!🎊

It was a wonderful day meeting beautiful families 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 and seeing the joy from all the Kids with their showbags & hearing all of their experiences from the day.

It was great to also see our beautiful Charity Partners and visitors.🤝
