In this hands-on beginner friendly workshop you will be making-a-thing. Will it be a box, a shelf, or a frame to hang on your wall? Whatever-the-thing you get to make, we know you'll love getting to know AND getting to practice using a selection of power tools. Members only - $15

Paddock to Plate is a morning of nourishing foods and beautiful gardens.
From making sourdough, to learning about retic, to worm farms, and pesto making.
These are hands on sessions that use food, flowers and everything in between.

💙 MONTHLY OPEN SHED THIS SUNDAY 💙
Open Shed is for members with previous workshop experience only.
It's your chance to bring a small project of yours to the shed, and work on it with support.
Perhaps you have wood needing to be cut - bring it, let's get it cut.
Or maybe you've got a small project that needs a few tools you don't own or would rather use with support - bring it, lets get it done.
If you don't have a specific project to work on, you can still opt to attend and help others with their project(s), or help us with ours.

💙UPCYCLE CLUB THIS SATURDAY 💙
Our monthly UPCYCLE CLUB is an opportunity to work on YOUR OWN upcycle projects, or join one of ours.
You know that small piece of furniture you've been meaning to flip, or that shirt you need to alter, or that old piece of decor you wanted to revamp? Bring it along and lets work on it together - sanding, painting, mending, decorating is heaps more fun and goes way faster in good company!
Open to Members and Non-Members
Held on the third Saturday of each Month from 9.30-11.30am:

WORKSHOP SUMMARY
🔹 Saturday Community Workshops: Gather, learn and share with like-minded women at the shed. Members and Casual Members welcome. Bookings essential.
🔹 Sunday Tools Skill Workshops: Shed Basics and Drilling 101 are our beginner level induction workshops - these are compulsory pre-requisites to attending Open Shed and Make-A-Thing. Members and Casual Members welcome. Bookings essential.
🔹 Sunday Open Shed and Make-A-Thing Workshops are about getting to know and practice using a selection of power tools. These are for Members only. Bookings essential.
🔹 Wednesday Craft Club held monthly at the Baysie Bowlo. Members and Non Members welcome. Bookings encouraged.

🔹 Monday Night Women’s Shed: These sessions are lead by a skilled and experienced female tradie. You’ll get on the tools and involved in creating, making, building or renovating. These sessions are for Members only.

2 SPOTS STILL AVAILABLE at DRILLING 101 THIS SUNDAY JUNE 14th
In this hands-on workshop you will learn the ins and outs of drills, their unique uses, and gain practical experience. We'll cover things like:
(1) How a drill works
(2) The difference between a drill and a driver
(3) which drill to use when and why
(4) where it is safe to drill, and where not.
This workshop uses both demonstrations and hands on practice. You will given plenty of opportunity to use power drills, and will be drilling into different mediums (ie. brick, wood, tile). If time permits you will construct a simple wooden project to take home. Above all, you will build your self-confidence & will want to go home and get started on your own DIY projects.

BUSY BEE - SATURDAY JUNE 13th 9.30am
Regular Busy Bees ensure our space remains safe and functioning well.
Expect to get your hands dirty and get on a few tools.
We work as a team to clean, stack, lift, shift, organise and prepare for upcoming workshops.

Oftentimes there are minor renovations to help out with - like building cupboards, hanging shelves, painting walls.
Bring a pair of gloves if you can and a plate of food to share if you'd like.
We will provide morning tea.
