Hi everyone!

The next general meeting of the Maydena Community Association will be held on March the 12th at the Maydena Bike Park at 6:30pm, old and new members are all welcome to attend, we look forward to seeing you there!

We invite you to join the second round of community engagement for the RPPP where we will review the draft Upper Derwent Valley Precinct Plan, test potential actions and clarify community priorities.

It is important that the Plan reflect local voices, priorities and lived experiences. For the success of the RPPP, your insights are vital. All interested members of the public are invited to participate in workshops. If you know anyone who may be interested, please encourage them to join you.

The next steps involve transforming the surrounding area into a vibrant space, adding the line markings, and with the assistance of DVC, installing the high-quality equipment.

πŸŽƒ Trick-or-Treating (6:00 PM Start): Find the Orange
Balloons to find the candy!
πŸŽƒ Trunk-or-Treat Non-Maydena residents, join the fun!Decorate your boot and hand out candy at the Rail TrackRiders car park.
πŸŽƒ Halloween Party : After trick-or-treating, come back for Games, a Sausage Sizzle, and Maydena's notorious β€œHaunted Hut!"

Maydena Residents :Want to Host a Candy House? 🍭
Sign up at the Maydena Post Office to participate. Hosts will receive an Orange Balloon to display on Halloween and a starting bag of candy (pick up at the Post Office on Oct 31st).

🚌 Riding the Boo Bus! :A FREE bus service to and from Halloween isavailable for families from Westerway Primary School and stopping along Gordon River Road as needed. Kids must be accompanied by an adult.
